Monty C. “Cutter” Pritchett has over 20 years’ experience practicing law in Oklahoma the majority of which has been focused on Construction and Oil and Gas Industry.
Cutter received his undergraduate degree in Animal Science from Texas Tech University and his JD from the University of Tulsa College Of Law in 1991. While attending Law School, he began his career in the Oil and Gas Industry in the Energy Trust Department at First Tulsa Bank and Trust, which is now J.P. Morgan/Chase, performing in-house land duties.
After graduation from law school and leaving the bank, Cutter entered into private practice in Tulsa focusing on commercial, construction, transportation, and pipeline litigation as a Partner with Pritchett & Jeffers, PC and later joined Latham, Wagner, Steele & Lehman, and Toon and Osmond. Cutter worked in Fort Worth as a contractor with XTO Energy, Inc., performing title curative duties in the urban development of natural gas in the Barnett Shale play in North Texas. Cutter currently maintains a private law practice specializing in energy related litigation, oil & gas title examination, title curative, regulatory permitting, and due diligence in Tulsa.
Cutter is a member of the State Bar of Oklahoma; Oil, Gas and Energy Resources Law Section of the State Bar of Oklahoma.
